Allowing

Allowing

For many years I’ve known. Can’t say that I know anymore, that is, outside of what I know. It all changes–thoughts, ideas, preferences. They fall like autumn leaves as this season fades into another time and place, and something new is revealed. Love.

This is the journey of intimacy, the path of the adult experience. I know nothing. I know everything. This is the balance inside of which I stand.

Nimble.

No wick over which to jump quickly.

No candlesticks over which to leap.

The net appears still.

Always open do I remain that flow might carry it here to my embrace.
